One of the key suspects in the high-profile murder case of Sidhu Moose Wala has been killed in a police encounter. The Anti-Gangster Task Force of Punjab Police has been chasing these suspects and one was killed in the encounter.
Gangster Killed In Police Encounter In Moose Wala Case
A gangster named Jagroop Singh Roopa was killed near Amritsar on Wednesday. In the ongoing firing, three policemen were injured and a journalist also got bullet injuries while covering the incident. The other gangster Manpreet Singh aka Mannu Kussa continues firing against the police force. The ongoing encounter at Bhakna village, 20 km from Amritsar started this afternoon when Punjab police were chasing two suspects in the case. As of now, eight shooters have been arrested.
What all happened?
Ambulances reached the shooting spot few minutes before when police said that Jagroop Roopa was dead. The area, only about 10 km from the border with Pakistan, had been isolated and people had been advised to stay indoors. The police team was led by the DSP of the anti-gangster task force Bikram Brar and inspector Shiv Kumar. It is alleged that Mannu Kussa fired shots at Sidhu Moose Wala with an AK-47 rifle.
Moose Wala Murder Case
Singer and rapper turned Politician Shubhdeep Singh Sidhu aka Sidhu Moose Wala was attacked and killed by gangsters on May 29, 2022, in Mansa district of Punjab. He was killed days amid the VIP security restrictions by the state government. It was alleged that the murder was directed by Canada-based Satinderjit Singh aka goldy Brar, in coordination with gangster Lawrence Bishnoi, who was already in Delhi’s Tihar Jail at that time. On the day when Moose Wala was killed, he had not taken his bulletproof car and two cops for security along with him.
