As 21 days lockdown is in place and likely to be extended for another 2 weeks, the same has crushed the wedding plans of 1000s of people in the country. While many have gotten married maintaining the strigent COVID-19 rules, others have just postponed the same.
A Twitter user named Gazal Bawa is among the ones who have postponed her weeding for another day. But to keep the vibe intact until it’s officially the wedding day, her friends threw her and her to-be-beau an online sangeet party.
A video of the amazing gesture was shared by Ms Bawa on Twitter. Since going online, the video has been widely shared on the social media platform.

The video begins with a message from the couple’s friends, “Gazal and Hemant, here’s little something from all of us together in isolation.” This was followed by friends, each appearing in different windows, dancing on a Punjabi song called Na Dil De Pardesi Nu.
The video ends with the caption, “Happy shaadi you guys! Here’s to you both and an endless togetherness.” And people are appreciating the gesture.
Such a sweet gesture! ❤️

This is probably the best Sangeet I have ever seen. Congratulations and enjoy life. It’s the lucky ones who get to stay at home and live through the lockdown.
