As they have been walking on feet, many times bare feet and are being crushed by vehicles someone has finally cared for them. The Agra police presented a nice gesture by showing concern for the migrant workers. The city police have decided to provide slippers and shoes to them.
Not only footwear but the police is providing much more. The migrants are also provided with food, water, and other support. This includes helping them to return to their home states easily. The police has also invited the civilians to come and join their effort.
“Migrant labourers are coming here from far away places, many of them on foot. That is why we have set up stalls providing free slippers“, said Sadar CO Vikas Jaiswal. The police is ensuring all kind of help the migrant workers of the city are looking for as they aim to move home amidst the lockdown.
