To get Delhi Government Electricity Subsidy Scheme the applicants will have to apply voluntarily under the voluntary subsidy scheme (VSS), as announced by the Government. This process is applicable from October 1, 2022, under which Delhi citizens will now have to apply to get electricity at subsidized prices. That means no one will get this scheme benefits by default.

There are various methods, both online and offline to apply for Delhi residents to get subsidized electricity.
Here’s How You Can Apply For Free Electricity Via Missed Call:
- First, give a missed call on 7011311111.
- Then you will receive an SMS carrying a link to get a subsidy from Delhi Government.
- When you click on the link it will take you to a WhatsApp chat.
- Next, select the language to continue between English and Hindi.
- Then find your CA No in your electricity bill and send it to the chat.
- Now an already filled electricity form will be submitted.
- Check the details carefully and confirm by clicking on ‘yes’.
- A confirmation acknowledgment will be sent to you through WhatsApp.
Steps To Apply For Electricity Subsidy In Delhi Via WhatsApp:
- First, save this number 7011311111, and send ‘Hi’ on WhatsApp.
- Now select your preferred language.
- Next, type your 11-digit CA No.
An already filled electricity subsidy form will appear. - Again confirm your details and tap on ‘Yes’.

“Within 3 days of registration through the physical or electronic method, a confirmation will be sent to consumers through SMS or e-mail that your subsidy on electricity will continue,” said Arvind Kejriwal while introducing the service.
