The U.S. is returning the favor of Hydroxychloroquine with the supply of Ventilators. The U.S. President Donald Trump has said that it would donate ventilators to its friend ‘India’. Trump made the announcement officially and tweeted about the same.
Ventilators are quite important when it comes to treating COVID-19 patients who are critical. At a time when the shortage of ventilators has been a problem for many nations including India this help from U.S. can come in handy.
“I am proud to announce that the United States will donate ventilators to our friends in India. We stand with India and @narendramodi during this pandemic. We’re also cooperating on vaccine development. Together we will beat the invisible enemy!“, tweeted Trump.
Not only this the nation would also be supporting India in terms of vaccine development (as the tweet read). Many U.S. companies have developed potential vaccines that are in phases of trials. The expertise of U.S. here can surely help India to develop affordable vaccine for its citizens in the future.
