Fake news has been the biggest enemy of our society. From triggering riots to causing mob lynching it can be blamed for all the wrongs. Now, in times of pandemic, it has become more annoying. Fake ‘nuskhyes’ aka remedies are doing the rounds on WhatsApp forwards.
Taking a step in this regards TikTok India has brought some big names to propagate the message. Team India captain Virat Kohli, actors Ayushmann Khurrana, Kriti Sanon, and Sara Ali Khan have come on one platform. TikTok’s #MatKarForward hits hard at fake news.
The idea is to propagate is to not forward videos, news, message, etc that are fake. Thorugh this the TikTok has invited its users to create a video with the hashtag on the platform. The initiative is quite positive and its importance is all the more in recent times.
