Face masks have become the new normal. And you, for sure, know that by now. The weirdest part about face masks is that they have now become a part of the wedding essentials too. And I tell you, people seem to be nailing the face mask wedding look.
Recently, a couple, who got married in Assam, included a face mask in their wedding attires. And it looks so elegant that the pictures and videos of the same have gone viral. The wedding took place in Guwahati on May 22 wherein the couple wore traditional silk masks matching with their wedding attires.
The reusable face masks, which have been designed by Nandini Borkakati, were made of Assam’s Pat silk.
“The idea was to leave the surgical approved protective masks for the medical staff, and encourage the population to wear more fabric-made masks with unique and creative designs,” the Guwahati-based fashion and textile designer told The Indian Express.
