Cricket’s status of gentleman’s game got a tad bit beating on Sunday after a physical spat on the field between India and Bangladesh players at the U-19 World Cup final.
It all happened after Bangladesh beat India and the former team’s players ran to celebrate on the field mocking and taking a jibe at the Indian players. Like seniors, like juniors.. tbh!!

Thereafter, the situation got heated and also physical. Sooner, the cricketing bodies like ICC and BCCI had to intervene to investigate the matter which has lead to this story.
As per a report by Times of India, most of the Bangladeshi players were over-aggressive for the entirety of the game. “They would mock Indian players after nearly every delivery,” added the report. It further states that things got heated when Bangladesh approached the winning runs and Shoriful was seen swearing on the camera.
After the win, Bangladeshi players ran to the ground and words were exchanged between the two team players. Sooner, on being taunted and abused one of the Indian player hit and push a Bangladeshi player adding fuel to physical retaliation.
The incident was criticised by the who’s who of critics and cricket fans.
