Kindness always comes back. And this instance is an example of the same. A woman who was fired from her job due to the ongoing pandemic has won over 92 lakhs in a lottery that she purchased from the money she earned sewing face masks.
Lorna Hewitt said that she used to work at a restaurant before it was closed due to the pandemic. Then she began working at a grocery store. There she stiched masks for her colleagues and other staff at the shop.

“They liked them so much, they started giving me some money for them,” Hewitt was quoted as saying by UPI.
“So, I started selling them, because my boss couldn’t order anymore, there was a shortage,” she added.
And randomly one day she decides to buy a lottery ticket out of the money she had saved by selling the face masks. She bought a Keno 8-spot ticket from Sister’s Main Lane. “I don’t play a lot, but thought I was doing something to help, maybe I would win,” she said.
