Former Indian Batsman VVS Laxman said that the Trio-pacers, Ishant Sharma, Jasprit Bumrah, and Mohammad Shami should play in the WTC final against New Zealand, commencing from 18th June.
VVS Laxman said, “I would go with Ishant, Shami, and Bumrah as my three pacers in the WTC final. I feel Siraj is confident after the way he performed against Australia and also against England. But the way Ishant has contributed over the years to Indian cricket is unbelievable.”

Moreover, he added to his statement that What the Indian team needs in the WTC final is a lot of experience, and the way Ishant, Bumrah, and Shami have given the solidity of Indian bowling is exceptional.
Meanwhile, Laxman also appraised the spin duo of Ravindra Jadeja and Ravichandran Ashwin. He said India is blessed to have two world-class spinners in their ranks.
He additionally said that “I will go with both Jadeja and Ashwin in the final. It is a blessing for India that these two are playing in the same generation. They not only take wickets but also score handy runs down the order, which will be very crucial in the English condition.”
