As the center of the pandemic’s outbreak, Wuhan looked to getting back on track troubling new has come. The epicenter once again reported a cluster of cases post the lifting of lockdown. This is feared to be as the reoccurrence of the wave in the city.
The city reported 5 new confirmed cases, all of whom live in the same residential compound. As per Reuters one of the patients is the wife of an 89-year-old male patient reported a day earlier in the first confirmed case in the city in more than a month.
All the positive cases were previously classified as asymptomatic. China reported over 1500 asymptomatic cases when the lockdown was lifted last month. Meanwhile, the Shanghai Disneyland opened today with hosts of measures and limited capacity.

“At present, the task of epidemic prevention and control in the city is still very heavy. We must resolutely contain the risk of a rebound“, said an official statement from Wuhan’s health authority.
