Apple iOS 17 New Features
1. NameDrop
NameDrop makes transferring contact information as simple as placing your iPhone near another person’s iPhone or Apple Watch. You can start a SharePlay session or swap images using the same technique.
2. StandBy
iOS 17 has a new StandBy capability. By turning the iPhone on its side, you can receive a fresh full-screen experience with glanceable information while charging. Clocks, images, and widgets are all display possibilities.
3. Messages
You can now see a transcription of your audio messages and use search criteria to find the exact message you’re looking for.
4. FaceTime
New video effects on all video conferencing apps, including FaceTime, let you express yourself in new ways. FaceTime calls on Apple TV 4K now support Continuity Camera.
5. Journal
With this brand-new software, you can keep a record of both major and minor events in your life. Journals have scheduled alerts to help you build a habit and reflect on the past to get new insights.
6. Call Recording
This must be one of the most requested features among iPhone owners. A function that has been available to Android users for over a decade is still a dream for iOS users. With iOS 17, Apple is anticipated to allow Call Recording.
7. Better Notifications
On iOS, reading and managing alerts is a pain, especially on the lock screen. Accessing and managing them on Android is significantly more convenient. Apple is likely to make some improvements to this experience in iOS 17.
8. Dual Apps
App cloning is a highly handy technology that allows users to create clones of programs such as WhatsApp in order to access different accounts.
9. Split Screen
It is one of the most crucial aspects of multitasking. The ability to display two programs at once is a very useful productivity tool that allows you to save time navigating between apps.
10. Improved Siri
Apple is working on removing the “Hey” element of Siri’s standard listen phrase, so it will just listen to “Siri.”
