Recently, SBI Bank raised the interest rates on its Fixed Deposits (FDs) by 75 basis points, making this conventional investment option more appealing. The latest action by SBI comprises a notable hike in FD rates for a range of tenures.
For example, the rate for deposits maturing in the range of 46 to 179 days has increased from 4.75 to 5.50 percent, while the rate for deposits maturing in the range of 180 to 210 days has increased from 5.75 to 6 percent.
