The states with four-digit or bigger tallies have doubled since May 1 when the central government allowed the movement of migrant workers. Overall America’s Johns Hopkins University ranks India as the 12th worst-hit country. Though over 1 lakh people have been recovered the risk is rising each day.
Thre are 1 lakh active cases and since the last few days, the cases have been rising sharply, by 8,000 or more. Like most of the country, India is closing on its peak post which the cases see a dip.
