On Tuesday, several government websites, news websites, and social media websites have faced internet outage all across the globe. Some reports pointed a glitch at US-based cloud computing service provider Fastly.Â
However, Reuters couldn’t confirm the issue immediately that affecting the sites. Fastly said, “the potential impact to performance with our CDN services.” As per the websites, certain of Fastly’s coverage areas faced “Degraded Performance”.

Apart from this, Amazon.com Inc’s retail website also went down. Nearly 21,000 Reddit users reported issues concerned with a social media platform, whereas over 2,000 users reported problems with Amazon, says the outage monitoring website Downdetector.com.
Websites operated by news outlets including the Financial Times, the Guardian, the New York Times, and Bloomberg News also faced outages.
