Well, this year has given us all the worst experiences so far. And the one amongst them is the more than the frequent visit of the earthquake. While the Delhi-NCR got its 6th date with earthquake yesterday its 2 other cities this time. The Friday morning being with some jolts for the residents of these cities.
What was surprising was the synchronization of the earthquakes. 2 earthquakes hit Jamshedpur in Jharkhand and Karnataka’s Hampi which are over 1800 km apart at the same time. Jamshedpur was hit by an earthquake of magnitude 4.7 on the Richter scale at 6:55 AM.
At the same time, Hampi also experienced a mild earthquake of magnitude 4.0 on the Richter scale. National Center for Seismology provided the details about bot the earthquakes that occurred early morning.
Both the earthquakes were of mild-intensities and no casualties or damage to properties have been reported so far.
