In Maharashtra’s Nagpur district, 3, 970 persons have tested positive for Covid-19 cases whereas 58 died because of the infection on Sunday. With this count, the district has now reached 2, 18,820 cases, the official said.
However, a total of 3,479 patients are discharged from hospitals on Sunday, and now the recovery count is 1, 76,113, for Nagpur. Still, the district has 37, 776 active cases.
During all these, Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray conducted a meeting and asked officials to formulate and implement lockdown in such a way that it has a minimum impact on the economy, an official release said.

Additionally, the meeting held with Honourable Chief Minster Uddhav Thackeray, Health Minister Rajesh Tope, and task force members expressed worry that in the next 24 hours, Maharashtra might report 40,000 new Covid-19 cases.
In the past week, Maharashtra has reported a massive rise in positive Covid-19 cases over the last few weeks. During this short period, the state has added nearly one lakh new infections.
On 27th March 2021, the state has recorded 35,726 fresh cases within24 hours. Also, the task force members said that this count can reach up to 40,000 in 24 hours.
