As the coronavirus is spreading across boundaries killing thousands precaution is the way to safeguard. And when it comes to precautions washing hands or sanitizing them from time to time is at the top as per WHO. However, what if you are in a public place?
The answer to this has been found in the face of “portable washbasins”. Yes, the African nation of Rwanda has installed “Portable Washbasins” to help people wash hands in public places. The World Health Organization has advised washing hands for 20 seconds each time as a precautionary measure.
A video from the capital city Kigali is going viral on social media. The video shows people washing hands-on portable washbasins at public places. The installation has taken place at bus stops, car parking, railway stations etc to prevent the spread of the virus. To avoid contamination the washbasins have foot-pedals to bring water to the taps instead of using hands. So, far the country has not reported a case of Coronavirus.
